SCI Hope was founded in 2009 to assist individuals with spinal cord injuries. The fund was inspired by the experiences of John Wassen from Brownsburg, Indiana.

Grant Recipients

One of our grant recipients, Erica, was given a grant to attend Project Walk in Atlanta. Project Walk improves the quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries through intense activity-based recovery programs.

Wanted to show you what John Monaghan (SCI Recipient) and his fiance, Elyssa Hill have been up to recently.

John continues to do well at IUPUI and gets around quite well in his van, which the SCI Hope Fund helped them to pay for.
